Bloomington, IN - Head coach Lin Loring announced today the signing of Laura McGaffigan (Davenport, Iowa/Bettendorf High School) to play tennis at Indiana University. McGaffigan will join the Hoosiers in the fall of 2003.
"We are extremely pleased that Laura will be joining us next year," Loring said. "With a sister playing No. 1 at Illinois and a sister playing top three at Wisconsin, all the Big Ten schools were recruiting her. I expect Laura to have an immediate impact on our line-up. Also, she is an excellent student and a really nice young lady. We couldn't ask for a better recruit for our program."
McGaffigan will come to Indiana with a wealth of accomplishments throughout her high school career.
