
7/1/2008 - Former IU standout David Neville advanced to the 400m finals at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials on Monday, June 30, recording the fourth best time in the semifinals when he crossed the finish line in 45.03 seconds.
Another former Hoosier advanced at the Olympic Trials on Monday. Four-time Big Ten champion Rose Richmond advanced to the finals in the long jump with her leap of 6.50m (21-4). Read Full Release

Indiana track and field standout Abbie Stechschulte competed in two of the final three events of the heptathlon at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials on Saturday, June 28 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Due to an injury, Stechschulte was forced to withdraw from competition following the javelin throw.

Hoosier standout Abbie Stechschulte opened the 2008 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials in the heptathlon at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore., on Friday, June 27. After four events, she is in 16th place with 3,134 points.
