    Hoosiers' 4x100 Relay Takes Second in Final Day of Big Ten Outdoor Track and Field Championships

    UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Hoosiers' 4x100-meter relay team took second to earn Indiana's fifth medal of the 2007 Big Ten Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Penn State in University Park, Pa., on Sunday, May 13. The Hoosiers ended the championship in sixth place with a final team score of 62 points.

    Senior Stacey Clausing finished third in the 200-meters with a time of 23.72, which improves her regional qualifying time of 23.93 (5/4 at Billy Hayes Invitational). Clausing also clocked a time of 54.62 to finish sixth in the 400-meter dash.

    Senior Courtney Johnson placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.65 and was followed by classmate Lorian Price, who placed 7th with a time of 13.89.

    Senior Jessica Gall, the 2007 Big Ten 10,000-meter champion, finished fifth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:29.99.

    Junior Zakiya Robinson finished seventh in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.00.

    Illinois and Michigan finished in a tie for the Big Ten Championship with 129 points, each. Penn State ended the meet in third with 121.5 points.
