    CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Four Hoosiers earned a medal on the final day of the 2008 Big Ten Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the Illinois Soccer and Track Stadium in Champaign. Indiana's women's team placed 10th with 31 points.

    Sophomores Molly Beckwith and Ashley Rhoades each earned bronze medals in the 800-meters and high jump, respectively. Beckwith clocked a final time of 2:07.56. Rhoades tied her personal best when she cleared 1.75 meters to take third. In the pole vault, sophomore Vera Neuenswander and freshman Stephanie Chin finished in a three-way tie for the bronze medal with a mark of 3.95 meters.

    Sophomore Faith Sherrill finished seventh in the discus with a mark of 44.78 meters. The women's 4x400-meter relay team, made up of Beckwith, senior Kyndal Carr, junior Audrey Smoot and junior Lauren Keefe, crossed the line in 3:45.42 to win their heat and finish seventh overall.

    The Hoosiers return to action on May 30-31 at the 2008 NCAA Mid East Region Championships, hosted by the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
