Price Advances to Finals of 100-Meter Hurdles in Day One of NCAA Mideast Regional Championships

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Indiana senior Lorian Price clocked a personal-best 13.44 in the 100-meter hurdles to finish third in her heat and qualify for finals in the first day of the 2007 NCAA Mideast Regional, hosted by the University of Missouri at the Audrey J. Walton Stadium in Columbia on Friday, May 25. Her preliminary time ranks fifth all-time in the Indiana record book.
IU's 4x100-meter relay team also qualified for Saturday's final. The women's team finished seventh overall with a time of 45.22.
The Hoosiers open tomorrow's action in the field with the pole vault, which features the top-ranked freshman in the nation in IU's Vera Neuenswander, is slated for 3:30 p.m. ET. Events on the track begin with the finals of women's 4x100-meter relay at 5:10 p.m.
