    Yeager Leads IU at Hoosier Hills Open

    Bloomington, Ind.- Indiana University senior Ty Yeager turned in one of the strongest performances this afternoon as IU hosted the Hoosier Hills Open. Yeager, improved upon his NCAA provisional standard in the 55m hurdles running a personal record of :07.24 seconds. Yeager improved upon his previous best time of :07.36 leaving him .01 seconds away from the NCAA automatic standard.

    Other Hoosiers turning in impressive performances included the first place 4x400m relay (3:17.17), IU freshman Kendal Willis' first in the 55m hurdles (:08.09), Nathalie Belfort's first in the high jump (1.76m), Leah Horn's first in the pole vault (2.90m), and Maria Fleischmann's victory in the triple jump (12.02m).

    The Hoosiers have the upcoming week to prepare for the Big Ten Championships. The men will be travelling to Purdue University and the women's team will head to Michigan State.
