    IU EIGHTH AT BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIPS

    East Lansing, Mich.- The Indiana women's track & field team completed the Big Ten Indoor Championships finishing in eighth place.

    In their second day of competition, the Hoosiers were led by seniors Hilary Bruening and Nathalie Belfort. Bruening finished second in the 600m run in 1:31.12. In the high jump, Belfort recorded her best mark of the season finishing in third place (1.80m). Other Hoosiers contributing to the scoring effort included: Kim Craig finishing eighth in the 800m run (2:15.10) in addition to a sixth place finish by LaToya Turner in the 55m hurdles (:08.00).

    The Hoosies return home next Friday, March 6th, for the Indiana USAT&F. Competition at the Harry Gladstein Fieldhouse is set to begin at 4 p.m.
