THROWERS HIGHLIGHT FINAL DAY OF SEA RAY RELAYS Knoxville, Tenn.- The Indiana track & field team competed in their final day of the Sea Ray Relays. The Hoosiers closed out an impressive weekend with several solid performances.
On the men's side, the throwing squard proved to be the highlight of the day's festivities. Sophomore Kurt Krick reached his second NCAA provisional standard of the weekend in the shot put. Krick finished third with a season best mark of 17.86m, .06m farther than the NCAA standard. Krick was followed closely by a fellow Hoosier, senior Zach Fleming. Fleming placed sixth with a season best throw of 17.40m. The Hoosiers 4x1500m relay was another highlight of the day's competition as they finished third with a season best time of 16:01.82.
The throwing crew on the women's side turned out to be just as impressive as the men's team. Freshman Jennifer Brown finished second in the shot put (14.82m), just .01m off her season best mark. Brown also finished eighth in the discus (45.88m). Senior Jennifer Kamtz finished 13th in the discus (44.16m).
The Hoosiers return to Bloomington for a dual meet against Big Ten rival

Complex on Saturday, April 18th, at 1:00 p.m.
