    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana track and field team will travel to Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa, for the 98th running of the Drake Relays on Wednesday, April 25-Saturday, April 28.

    The Hoosiers begin participation on Wednesday afternoon with the heptathlon at 1 p.m. ET. IU also competes on Thursday in the 5,000-meter run. Field events open on Friday with the pole vault at 11 a.m. Saturday's field events begin with the long jump at 11 a.m., while running events start at 11:05 a.m. with the sprint medley relay.

    Senior Jessica Gall will travel back to California and try to reach a regional qualifying mark in the 5,000-meter run at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational in Palo Alto. The meet is hosted by Stanford University on Sunday, April 29.

    It will be her first time in the 5K this season. Gall currently holds IU's second-fastest time in the event with a 16:15.47, which she clocked at the 2006 Big Ten Championships.

    Seniors Lorian Price and Stacey Clausing recorded regional qualifying marks last weekend at the Cardinal Invitational. Price ran a 13.77 in the 100-meter hurdles to qualify for the May regional. Clausing clocked a 54.24 in the 400-meter dash to join Price and teammate Courtney Johnson, who has already qualified in the 100-meter hurdles.
