    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Five Hoosiers were honored as the United State Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2007 Women's Division I All-Academic Track and Field team on Thursday, July 5.

    Sophomore Caity Lauer and seniors Jessica Gall, Lindsay Hattendorf and Stacey Clausing, and junior Zakiya Robinson were among 415 student-athletes from 117 Division I colleges and universities that made up the all-academic team.

    The USTFCCCA honors Division I individuals for their academic and athletic achievements during the indoor and outdoor track season.

    To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field team, one must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and obtain an NCAA automatic or provisional qualifying mark for the most recent indoor championships or outdoor regional qualifying mark in their respective event.

    Lauer represented the Hoosiers in the 800-meter run at the 2007 NCAA Mideast Regional Championship on May 25-26 in Columbia, Mo. She was joined by Gall (5,000-meter run), Hattendorf (5,000-meter run), Clausing (200-meter dash, 400-meter dash, 4x100-meter relay) and Robinson (4x100-meter relay) at the regional meet.
