Indiana Earns USTFCCCA Women's All-Academic Track and Field Team Honor

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's track and field team was honored as one of the 2007 United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Teams, announced by the association on July 9.
The Hoosiers boasted the highest grade point average among Big Ten schools with a mark of 3.338. Their GPA also ranks 19th among the 97 teams that were selected. The Big Ten led all conferences with a total of eight all-academic teams.
To be nominated, a team must carry a minimum 3.000 GPA.
On July 5, the USTFCCCA announced honorees for the 2007 Women's All-Academic Track and Field team. The Hoosiers held five spots on the list in sophomore Caity Lauer, seniors Jessica Gall, Lindsay Hattendorf and Stacey Clausing, and junior Zakiya Robinson.
