    STORRS, Conn. - The Indiana volleyball team faced adversity, but prevailed in five sets to win the Uconn Classic tournament title on Saturday at Gampel Pavilion. The Hoosiers won the match over tournament host Connecticut, 19-25, 27-25, 20-25, 25-21, 15-12.

    The Hoosiers (3-0) were led by junior Amelia Anderson with 19 kills and senior Morgan Leach with 18 kills. Leach was named the tournament MVP for her play over the Hoosiers three matches.

    Sophomore setter Megan Tallman recorded her third double-double of the season with 55 assists and 10 digs. Junior Courtney Harnish had 24 digs and junior Awele Nwaeze had nine kills and seven blocks. Tallman, Harnish and Nwaeze joined Leach on the All-Tournament Team.

    Up next the Hoosiers host the Indiana Invitational Sept. 5-6 with matches against Miami (Oh), SEMO and Mississippi State.
