    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Volleyball (3-0) beat Kent State (1-2) in four sets to take the Indiana Invitational title. The Hoosiers won 25-11, 25-22, 22-25, 25-22. Caitlin Hansen Amelia Anderson and Awele Nwaeze made the all-tournament team with Nwaeze earning MVP honors. Nwaeze, Anderson and Jordan Haverly all registered 10+ kills in the match, while Hansen had 16 digs.

    Haverly led the way with 16 kills, Nwaeze had 13 and Anderson had 10. Katie Gallagher dished out 29 assists, while Megan Tallman had 20. Nwaeze led the team with three blocks as well. Jazzmine McDonald added nine kills and Morgan Leach had eight. Megan Tallman added a career-high 11 digs. The Hoosiers had eight service aces in the match, from six different players with Tallman and Nwaeze each adding two.

    In the first set, the Hoosiers dominated, getting five kills from Haverly and four from Nwaeze while Hansen and Taylor Lebo each added five digs en route to a 25-11 set win.

    The second set saw Kent State find their stride, battling to a 25-22 Hoosier win. McDonald, Anderson and Leach all had four kills in the set, and Hansen had six digs.

    The third set saw Kent State rally from a 20-15 deficit to win the set 25-22. Indiana got four kills from Haverly and three each from McDonald and Nwaeze. Megan Tallman added eight digs in the set.

    The fourth set saw Kent State take control early and keep the Hoosiers from taking more than a one point lead until a late 4-0 run clinched the 25-22 win for the Hoosiers. Nwaeze and Haverly both had five kills in the set and Anderson added three. IU had four service aces in the set, with one each from Anderson, Gallagher, Tallman and the match winner from Nwaeze.
