    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Volleyball (7-2) defeated Eastern Illinois (2-8) in straight sets (25-10, 25-17, 25-21) winning the Hoosier Classic title and remaining unbeaten at home on the season. Indiana got three players on the All-Hoosier Classic team, including middle blockers Samantha Thrower and Morgan Leach and tourney MVP Caitlin Cox.

    The Hoosiers got a spark from senior setter Mary Chaudoin in the match, as she got the start and tied for the team high with seven kills (hitting .636) and adding 22 assists. Fellow senior Kristen Seaton had seven kills and hit .583. The Hoosiers hit .324 on the match, while limiting EIU to hitting just .022. IU added 10 blocks and got seven from Leach.

    The Hoosiers cruised in the match, taking the lead after a 3-3 tie in the first set and never looking back, taking the set 25-10. In the second, the Hoosiers never trailed on the way to 25-17 win, and in the third, IU trailed only one time (7-8) after a 1-2 deficit early.
