    Hoosiers Fall to No. 25 Michigan State

    EAST LANSING, Mich. - Indiana Volleyball (8-6, 0-2) fell to No. 25 Michigan State (13-1, 1-1) in three sets (21-25, 17-25, 17-25). IU got 11 kills from Jordan Haverly in the match and a double-double from Whitney Granado, who had 19 assists and 11 digs in just two sets.

    In the first set, Michigan State stormed out to a a 24-16 lead. Indiana was able to fight off five set points before the Spartans closed it out 25-21. IU got four kills from Haverly in the set and eight assists and six digs from Granado.

    The second set was tight to a 17-15 advantage for MSU, but MSU stormed home with a 8-2 run, taking it 25-17. Haverly had four more kills and Granado had 11 assists in the frame.

    The third set saw IU fall 25-17 again. The Hoosiers got three kills from Haverly and two from Amelia Anderson. Melanie Hicks and Caitlin Hansen each had three digs in the set.
