    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Volleyball (8-6, 0-3) fell 3-0 to No. 5 Penn State (11-2, 2-1) on Thursday. The Nittany Lions prevailed (25-18, 25-19, 25-8). With her first assist of the match, Katie Gallagher reached 1,000 in her career and finished the night with 19. Senior Caitlin Hansen finished with eight digs moving past the 1,000-dig threshold.

     Quick Stats
    The first set saw the Hoosiers fall 25-18. IU got three kills each from Jordan Haverly, Awele Nwaeze and Amelia Anderson. The Nittany Lions hit a blistering .536 in the set, getting seven kills from Deja McClendon.

    The second set saw the Hoosiers come out with great energy, leading by as much as four, but a five point PSU run took the score from 14-12 to 14-17, and the Hoosiers were unable to catch back up, falling 25-19. Hansen added five digs in the set, and the Hoosiers spread out the attack again, getting three kills each from Haverly, Nwaeze and Chanté George.

    The third set saw the Nittany Lions storm out to 9-0 lead and never look back, winning 25-8. IU never got things clicking in the set, hitting -.190.
