Indiana Volleyball (12-19, 4-14) fell to No. 22 Purdue (20-10, 11-8) in three (25-21, 25-20, 25-23). IU got 17 kills form Jordan Haverly in the match, and five blocks from Samantha Thrower.
Haverly finished with 17 kills and nine digs. Thrower had nine kills and five blocks, including two solos. Whitney Granado added 37 assists, and Caitlin Hansen added a team-high 11 digs.
Purdue took the first set 25-21. Indiana got five kills from Haverly in the set, and Hansen added six digs. The Hoosiers also got a pair of aces from Melanie Hicks in the stanza.
The second set went to Purdue as well, 25-20. Haverly added eight kills in the frame, and Thrower tallied four. IU got five digs from Hansen, and the team added four blocks, with Thrower and Kelci Marschall both adding a solo and assisted block and Jade Henderson getting a solo block of her own.
The Hoosiers went back and forth with the Boilers in the third, but the Boilers were able to close things out 25-23. Haverly had four kills, and Marschall, Thrower and Morgan Leach each added three in the frame. Courtney Harnish had five digs, and Granado had 15 assists.
