BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – With the first match of the 40th season of IU volleyball only seven days away, the Indiana volleyball team will host its annual Cream and Crimson Day on Saturday August 23 at University Gym.

Starting at 5:00 p.m. fans can come out early and watch the Hoosiers as they warm-up and go through drills before the team scrimmage. They can also learn more about IU volleyball by asking questions to the coaching staff and student-athletes.

At 6:00 p.m. will be the Cream vs. Crimson Scrimmage where the team will play against each other. The 2014 volleyball poster will be available for pick-up and concessions will also be open.

After the scrimmage at 7:30 p.m. will be the team meet and greet, where the team will be available for autographs and pictures.

All activities will be free and held at University Gym, where the Hoosiers play their home matches.

“I think the fans are going to love this team,” IU head coach Sherry Dunbar-Kruzan said. “They put it all out there everyday. Fans want to see kids that come out here and represent Indiana and give everything they have and I think they are definitely going to see that this year.”

University Gym is located east of campus at the former University School Complex on the northeast corner of the Ind. 45/46 Bypass and 10th Street intersection.
