No. 15 Indiana avenged their senior night loss to No. 18 Michigan with a 10-7 victory in the first round of the CWPA Western Conference Championships at the Maytha Pool. This is the first time ever the Wolverines have lost a match at the Western Divisional Finals.

Freshman goal keeper Mary Campbell was named CWPA Rookie of the Week following her career-setting match against Michigan this past weekend. This is her second weekly award from the CWPA. Sophomore Colleen McNaught was named CWPA Conference Player of the Week on Wednesday evening for the week of March 11-17. McNaught had an impressive weekend in California, including helping the Hoosiers to an upset over No. 8 Hawaii.

The No. 11 Indiana water polo team made a furious comeback attempt against Cal State Northridge, but just couldn't get the final goal in the net as they fell to the Matadors 8-7 in their final game of the Aztec Invitational in the Aztec Aquaplex on the San Diego State campus. Starting with their trip to Pomona, Indiana finished 7-3 in their 10 day trip to California.
