ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The No. 10 Indiana Hoosiers women's water polo team (1-1) was defeated by No. 3 UCLA on Saturday in their second game of the Michigan Kick-Off. The two teams battled closely for the majority of the contest before a four-goal fourth quarter run separated the Bruins.
Senior goalkeeper Cassie Wyckoff had eight saves in the cage on 30 UCLA shot attempts.
The Bruins opened the game with a quick long range goal just 11 seconds into the action to take the one goal lead before McNaught answered for Indiana 20 seconds later. The Dana Point, Calif. native drew an ordinary foul and rifled in the goal to tie things up at 1-1.
