ERIE, Penn. - After an 11 day trip out west, the No. 12 Indiana water polo team was glad to have a few days back home in Bloomington. The Hoosiers looked very well rested in their 14-8 victory over Notre Dame College at the Carnival Athletic Pavilion.

Last year's leading scorer Shae Fournier tied an Indiana University record for most goals in a single game with six, passing her previous career high of five. Only five other players to ever go through the program at IU have scored six in a single game, including teammate Jakie Kohli who has done it twice.

Fournier has scored 50 goals so far this season. She already holds the University record for most goals scored in a season with 95.

The Hoosiers struck first against NDC with Rebecca Gerrity scoring early. Fournier followed with a quick three goals, then came one from Colleen McNaught, and another two from Fournier. Notre Dame was able to get a few points on the board themselves and they ended the half with the Hoosiers up 8-4.

NDC came out hot at the start of the third, cutting the lead to three before goals from Summer Creighton, Amanda Redfern, and a 5-meter from Fournier put the Hoosiers too far out of reach.

Mary Campbell got her fourth start in goal for Indiana and had 11 saves and one assist on 26 shots on goal.

Indiana finished the match with every player on the roster getting time in the pool, eight scoring at least one goal, and nine recording at least one steal. The Hoosiers will play host Gannon University at 2:00.
