Hoosier Trio Helps Canada To Win Over Japan at World University Games

KAZAN, Russia - At the 2013 World University Games, the Canadian Women's Water Polo team (2-1) improved to 2-1 in pool play with a 13-7 victory over Japan on Wednesday (June 10). A trio of Hoosiers helped Canada to the win as Shae Fournier tallied three goals and Shelby Taylor chipped in with a steal.
Jessia Gaudreault went the distance in goal, making eight saves to pick up the win.
Canada finished second in its pool and will advance to medal play on Friday (June 12) when they take on France at 3:30pm local time (7:30am Eastern).
