    Indiana Women's Cross Country Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors

    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has selected the Indiana women's cross country team as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team for boasting a team grade point average of 3.550.

    The Hoosiers were one of 160 programs selected for the honor. IU also posted two student-athletes on the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team in redshirt sophomore Sarah Pease and redshirt junior All-American Wendi Robinson.

    The Big Ten Conference was represented on the list by 10 teams, second to the BIG EAST with 11. For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Meet. The team must also have a minimum 3.00 team cumulative grade point average.
