    INDIANA HOSTS INTERCOLLEGIATES
    The No. 23 Hoosiers will stay at home this season for the 67th Indiana Intercollegiates on Friday, Sept. 16th. The event will feature three races, starting with the open race at 3:30 followed by the women's 5k at 4:30 and the men's 8k at 5:15. A total of 28 women's teams and 29 men's teams will be represented at this annual meet. The women's team won the event in 2003 and are looking to make it two out of three after a close loss to Purdue last season.

    COMMUNITY 5K RUN A SUCCESS
    The Hoosiers hosted a community 5k run on Friday Sept. 2 at the IU cross country course. A total of 66 runners participated, with senior Larra Overton finishing first for the Hoosiers in19:04. A total of six Hoosiers ran for the women's team.
