Hoosiers Take 15th at Griak Invite.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The No. 22 Hoosiers traveled to Minneapolis, Minn., and Les Bolstad Golf Course for the 20th annual Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday. IU finished 15th in a competitive field that included 31 teams and 287 runners from across the country.
Arizona State took the team and individual champion honors with senior Amy Hastings finishing first in 20:58, and teammate senior Anna Masinelli finishing in fifth with a time of 21:06.
In her first competitive race of the year All-America junior Jessica Gall finished first for the Hoosiers in 22:03, finishing 35th overall. Junior Lindsay Hattendorf finished second for IU and 60th overall in 22:26, with freshman Wendi Robinson finishing just behind Hattendorf, finishing 67th in 22:34. Rounding out the top five for the Hoosiers were seniors Kelly Siefker105th (23:05) and Larra Overton 109th (23:08).
Other teams of note were Minnesota (2nd), Butler (6th), Wisconsin (12th), and IPFW (23rd).
The Hoosiers are back in action Friday, Sept. 30 in South Bend, Ind., for the Notre Dame Invitational. Race time is slated for 4 p.m.
