BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana Men's Cross Country team heads to Minneapolis, Minn., for the Big Ten Championships. There is one point at stake in the Crimson and Gold Cup battle between IU and Purdue, with the higher finishing team earning the point for their school. Currently Purdue leads IU 1-.5. Last year Indiana took home the title 12-7.

    LAST YEAR AT BIG TENS
Last season, at the Ashton Cross Country course at the University of Iowa, the Hoosiers took fifth place, led by then-sophomore Jessica Gall, who finished third overall, earning first team All-Big Ten honors. Then-sophomore Kristin Whitezell also garnered All-Big Ten Honors with a 12th place finish, earning her a spot on the second team.

HOOSIER HISTORY AT THE BIG TENS
Indiana has won two Big Ten Championships (1989 and 1990) and has placed in the top four in two of the last three seasons. Led by then-sophomore Jessica Gall, the Hoosiers finished in fifth place, with Gall taking third place honors.
