BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Led by juniors Jessica Gall and Lindsay Hattendorf, Indiana took fourth at the Big Ten Championships on Sunday, Oct. 30, which is the 11th top five finish for an Indiana women's cross country team. A top-five finish at Big Tens in the past has been a good indicator of how the team will fare at the NCAA Regionals. In the 10 previous years IU finished in the top five at Big Tens, the Hoosiers finished in the top five at Regionals nine times, qualifying for the NCAA Championships six times. Below is a chart of top-five Big Ten finishes.
