BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Big Ten released their list of cross country awards for the 2005 season on Wednesday, Nov. 2. Taking home the Sportsmanship award for Indiana was junior Lindsay Hattendorf, who grabbed a 10th place finish at the Big Ten Championships on Sunday.

"After redshirting her sophomore year and placing 57th in last years Big Ten meet, Lindsay's 10th place performance this year is a testament to her perseverance," Head Coach Judy Wilson said. "Through injury and disappointment, she has continued to be enthusiastic about the sport of cross country, our team and program, and Indiana University. Everyone should have an "H" on their team."

The Hoosiers, looking for another strong performance from Hattendorf and fellow junior Jessica Gall are back in action in on Saturday, Nov. 12 at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in Bloomington. Race time is set for 12:15 p.m.
