    Football letterman in 1967, 1968 and 1969...first team All-Big Ten in 1968 and 1969, and All-American in 1969...one of the greatest receivers in IU history...held Indiana records for passes received (119) and reception yardage (1,919), touchdowns (30) and points (180) at end of his career...also held IU season records for touchdowns (10, all three years)...set Big Ten record with 30 career touchdown catches...member of IU's 1967 Big Ten Co-Championship and Rose Bowl team.

    Football letterman in 1934, 1935 and 1936 and captain in 1936...played tackle, recovering fumbles for touchdowns against Ohio University in 1934 and Michigan in 1936...returned to IU in 1952 as assistant football coach and in 1957 became Assistant Adminstrator to Athletic Director...named Associate Athletic Director in 1975 and served until retirement in 1981...served IU as athlete, coach and administrator for over 40 years...Clevenger Award winner and member of Indiana Football Hall of Fame.

    Track letterman in 1932, 1933 and 1934 and captain in 1934...football letterman in 1931...member of NCAA championship team in 1932...Big Ten indoor and outdoor champion in the 440 and mile relay in both 1933 and 1934...won IU's first ever Olympic gold medal as a member of the 1,600-meter relay team in the 1932 Olympics in Los Angeles, setting a world record...later coached track at Brown University for 27 years...member of Indiana Track Hall of Fame and Helms Athletic Hall of Fame.

    Swimming letterman in 1971, 1972, 1973 and 1974 and co-captain in 1974...member of four Big Ten and three NCAA championship teams...freestyler who won 11 Big Ten individual championships and five relay championships, 16 titles in all...won six NCAA individual championships and two relay championships, eight in all...won nine AAU championships ...won gold medal in 1972 Olympics as member of 800 freestyle relay team and silver medal in the 1968 Olympics in the 1,650 freestyle...American record holder in 500 and 1,650 freestyles...won Sullivan Award as nation's outstanding amateur athlete in 1970.

    Football manager in 1928...served as Assistant Alumni Secretary from 1929-43 and Alumni Secretary from 1948-68 ...Director of University Relations from 1970-76...Chairman of the committee that organized the IU Varsity Club in 1953...recipient of Indiana University Distinguished Alumni Service Award and the Z.G. Clevenger Award from the I-Men's Association...aided athletic department for years in fundraising and recruiting.
