    Won soccer letters in 1979, 1980 and 1981...led Hoosiers to NCAA runner-up in 1980...won All-American honors in 1979, 1980 and 1981...Hermann Trophy recipient, symbolizing Collegiate Player of the Year in 1981...member of Honduran World Cup Team in 1982...ranks third on IU career list in both goals scored and total points...set season record with 63 points in 1981 and game record with four assists in 1979...honored as Collegiate Player of the Decade for the '80s.

    IU football coach from 1965 through 1972...coach of Indiana's co-championship Big Ten team of 1967, which went 9-1 and earned IU's only Rose Bowl trip...National Coach of the Year in 1967...starred as a player at Miami of Ohio University and later coached there...inducted into Miami's Hall of Fame in 1969.
