Damon Bailey

Won basketball letters in 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994. Co-captain in 1994; Co-most valuable player in 1994; All-Big Ten in 1994; 3rd team All-American in 1994. Among top six at IU in career scoring, career free throws and career assists.

Ralph Hamilton

Won basketball letters in 1942, 1943 and 1947; Captain in 1947; Most Valuable Player in 1947; All-Big Ten in 1947; All-American in 1947. Held IU scoring record for nine years after scoring 31 points against Iowa in 1943. Led Big Ten in field goal percentage in 1947.

Elizabeth "Buzz" Kurpius

Served in Athletics Department for 27 years, first as an assistant football coach under Lee Corso, then in charge of compliance and eligibility. For most of her career, she was an academic counselor and Associate Athletic Director for Academic Affairs, assisting thousands of athletes in career and academic planning.

De Dee Nathan

Won track letters in 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1990. Won Big Ten championships indoors in the long jump and pentathlon, and outdoors in the hurdles and long jump; a total of six Big Ten championships. Runner-up in the pentathlon in the 1990 NCAA championships. Member of 2000 U.S. Olympic team in heptathlon.

Gregg Thompson

Won soccer letters in 1978, 1980, 1981 and 1982; Co-captain in 1982; All-Big Ten in 1981 and 1982. Member of 1982 NCAA championship team; scored both goals in IU's 2-1, eight-overtime win over Duke. Member of 1984 U.S. Olympic team. Member of the U.S. National Team 1984-1986.

David Volz

Won track letters in 1981, 1982 and 1983. Won Big Ten outdoor pole vault championships in 1981 and 1982. Won Big Ten indoor pole vault championships in 1982 and 1983. NCAA pole vault champion in 1981. Set American record in the pole vault twice in 1982. Member of 1992 U.S. Olympic team where he placed fifth. Still holds IU and Big Ten records in pole vault, both indoors and outdoors.
