
Indiana Returns Home to Host UC Davis

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– Indiana Field Hockey is set to host UC Davis at Deborah Tobias Field on Friday, Oct. 3 at 3 p.m.
WEEKEND REWIND
• Indiana Field Hockey fell 5-0 to Northwestern on Friday, Sep. 26.
• Kai Killian notched three saves in the contest, her first start since Maine (Sep. 1).
• Five Hoosiers recorded shots on goal: Kate Longo, Anna Mozeleski, Celia Arroyo Cabezudo,Theresa Ricci and Inés Garcia Prado.
• Longo recorded her first shot of the season on Friday.
• Ricci led the team with two shots on goal.
AT THE MIDPOINT
• Friday's contest with UC Davis will be IU's last non-conference game at home of the season.
• Following Indiana's game against UC Davis, the Hoosiers will have one more regular season, non-conference game of the 2025 campaign. That game will be against Miami (Ohio) on Monday, Oct. 13.
• Indiana's current record stands at 4-5 and their conference record stands at 0-2.
• Inés Garcia Prado is tied for seventh in the Big Ten conference with 14 points on the 2025 campaign.

• UC Davis stands at 4-5 with a 6-1 win over Long Island University and a 4-1 loss to California Berkley last weekend.
• Ella Franken leads the Aggies with seven goals on the season.
• Beth Munro-Morris and Katie Kim top the assist charts for UC Davis with four each.
• This will be the sixth all-time matchup between Indiana and UC Davis. Indiana leads the all-time series 5-0. The last time IU and UC Davis played was in 2022. Indiana won that contest 2-0. The game capped a three-game road swing in California where the Hoosiers went 3-0 and defeated Stanford, California and UC Davis in one weekend.
OVERTIME TIDBITS
• Indiana's Inés Garcia Prado, Emma Thompson and Mijntje Hagen were named to the Big Ten's preseason Players to Watch list.
• Senior Emma Thompson, a captain in 2024, is once again a team captain in 2025. Junior Inés Garcia Prado was voted in as a team captain for the Hoosiers as well.
• Indiana's roster bolsters a former high school duo who are once again playing together at the collegiate level. Javi Baeza and Charlotte Glasper played together at Shaker Heights High School (Ohio).
• The Hoosiers further their international talent, expanding the number of countries represented on the team. Lily Freeman and Elen Nicholls came to Bloomington from England while Keke Sluiter, Kiki Oomens and Mijntje Hagen travelled from the Netherlands. Emma Thompson is from New Zealand.
