TEAM
• Indiana is 2-2 all-time against Oregon with both wins coming in Eugene.
• Indiana's game captains were: OL Pat Coogan, LB Aiden Fisher, TE Riley Nowakowski and WR Elijah Sarratt.
• Indiana won the coin toss and deferred the opening kickoff. Oregon received the opening kick.
• The win snapped Oregon's 22-game winning streak at Autzen Stadium.
• The Hoosiers are 37-27-1 all-time as a ranked team, which includes a 16-18 record on the road and a 30-20-1 mark in Big Ten play.
• It is Indiana's second-ever win over a top-5 opponent (No. 3 Purdue, 1967) and the first over a top-5 opponent on the road.
• Indiana starts a season 6-0 for the third time in program history (2024, 1967). IU started two other seasons with 5-0-1 records (1988 and 1945).
• Oregon had allowed just 1.0 sack entering the game and Indiana finished with 6.0 sacks in the game. It was the most by a team against Oregon since Ohio State in the 2024 College Football Playoff (8.0).
• The Indiana defense help Oregon to its fewest yards of total offense under head coach Dan Lanning and fewest yards since 2021 (Utah; 221).
Amare Ferrell | DB | Jr.
• Tied a career-high seven tackles. He has reached the mark on three other occasions with the last being in the First Round of the College Football Playoff at Notre Dame in 2024.
Aiden Fisher | LB | R-Sr.
• His 13 tackles marked the 10th career game with double-digit tackles, first in 2025 and sixth as a Hoosier.
• Notched a career-high 1.5 sacks. His previous high was 1.0 sacks which he has recorded on three other occasions.
Brendan Franke | K | R-Sr.+
• Tied the IU program record for longest field goal with a 58-yarder in the closing seconds of the first half to put Indiana ahead, 13-10.
• The field goal was the longest made field goal by a Hoosier in a road or neutral-site game.
• It also set an Autzen Stadium record by 2 yards over kicks from
Rolijah Hardy | LB | So.
• Had a career-high 13 tackles for his first-career double-digit tackle game. His previous high was four on three occasions, last at Iowa in Week 5 of 2025.
Roman Hemby | RB | R-Sr.
• With 25 yards receiving he is now the only active FBS player with 2,500 yards rushing and 1,000-yards receiving in his career. He sits at 2,768 yards rushing and 1,022 yards receiving.
• Scored his first touchdown as a Hoosier on a 3-yard rush in the first quarter for his 28th career touchdown.
• His two scores marked his fifth multi-rushing touchdown game of his career and his first since he did so in 2023 against Virginia while at Maryland.
• It was also his sixth multi-touchdown game of his career and his first since he did so at Indiana (1 rushing; 1 receiving) in 2024 while at Maryland.
Isaiah Jones | LB | R-Jr.
• Had his first career interception when he picked off Dante Moore in the fourth quarter.
• Tied a career-high eight tackles and marked back-to-back weeks with eight stops.
Mikail Kamara | DL | R-Sr.
• Owns at least one tackle in 41 of 43 career games played.
Mario Landino | DL | So.
• Made first career start and is the only first-time starter through seven weeks in 2025.
Fernando Mendoza | QB | R-Jr.
• Had a 20-for-31 passing day with 215 yards passing and a touchdown.
• The touchdown puts him in a tie at No. 9 on the single-season passing touchdown charts with 17: No. 9 - Ben Chappell (17; 2009) and Antwaan Randle El (17 (1999).
Louis Moore | DB | R-Sr.+
• Had his seventh career interception when he picked off Dante Moore in the fourth quarter.
• The pick marked back-to-back games with an interception.
Nico Radicic | K | R-So.
• His two field goals pushed his active streak to nine-straight made field goals, which ties his career-long streak and is tied for the eighth-longest streak in program history.
• The 3-for-3 effort on extra points and his two field goals made put his career scoring total to 160 points and into No. 19 on the IU career scoring charts. He passed WR Shane Wynn (154; 2011-14) in the game.
Elijah Sarratt | WR | Sr.
• Continued his nation-leading consecutive games with a catch streak to 44 on his 24-yard connection with Fernando Mendoza in the first quarter.
• His 8-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter put Indiana up 27-20 with 6:23 remaining.
• The score marked his 15th career touchdown reception, putting him in a tie at No. 8 in the program's career charts: No. 8 - Omar Cooper Jr. (15; 2022-present), TE Ted Bolser (15; 2010-13) and WR Trent Smock (15; 1973-75).
• Registered his 13th career 100-yard receiving game with 121 yards on eight catches. He has six such games as a Hoosier.
Kellan Wyatt | DL | Sr.
• Had a career-high 1.5 sacks. He reached his previous high of 1.0 sacks on eight occasions, last against Northwestern in 2024 while at Maryland.
