
Hoosiers Set for Final Night at NCAA Championships

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Indiana will look to lock up a program record national finish in the final session of the 2025 Women's Swimming and Diving Championships Saturday (March 22) night inside the Weyerhaeuser Aquatic Center.
The Hoosiers come into the night ranking No. 4 in the team standings with 209 points. A finish better than seventh would mark a program record.
Indiana advanced two championship and four consolation finalists from preliminaries Saturday morning but will have more cards to play in the 1,650-yard freestyle and 400-yard freestyle relay.
In the 1,650 free, seniors Ching Hwee Gan and Mariah Denigan will attempt to reach the podium for a third year in a row. Gan, the No. 4-seeded swimmer, has medaled at the last two NCAA Championships and swims in the fastest heat that kicks off finals at 9 p.m. ET. Denigan will swim in heat three at 7:25 p.m. ET.
Coming off her first NCAA medal on the 3-meter springboard Friday night, senior Skyler Liu will compete in her best event, platform diving, Saturday night. The winner of the last two Big Ten titles in the event, Liu finished second in the prelim with a score of 330.75. Sophomore Ella Roselli is slated to dive in the consolation final.
Senior Brearna Crawford will make her first-career appearance in a championship final, racing as the No. 5 seed in the 200-yard breaststroke.
After crushing her 100 fly, 100 back double Friday night, Miranda Grana became the top qualifier in the 200 back 'B' final. Senior Anna Peplowski and junior Kristina Paegle both made the 100 free consolation heat.
