BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Men's Tennis head coach Jeremy Wurtzman announced the program's 2025 signing class on Monday.
The signees include incoming freshman Aryan Badlani, Aidan Atwood and transfer Sam Landau. The trio is set to get to Bloomington in August.
""We're incredibly excited about this recruiting class. Aryan (Badlani) and Aidan (Atwood) are two of the top American players and will make an immediate impact in both singles and doubles," Wurtzman said. "They bring a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to their development on and off the court. We're also thrilled to welcome Sam Landau back home to IU. He's one of the best players in the country, and we can't wait to see him compete in crimson this fall."
Badlani is an incoming freshman from Roslyn Heights, New York. He is a blue chip recruit and the No. 24 overall national prospect in the class of 2025 according to Tennis Recruiting Network. He was a quarterfinalist at the 2025 Boys 18's Fila Easter Bowl and owns a 12.2 UTR rating.
Atwood joined the Hoosiers in January 2025, but redshirted in the 2024-25 season and will make his Indiana debut this fall. Atwood is a native of Suwanee, Ga. and was ranked as the No. 27 player nationally in the class of 2024 according to Tennis Recruiting Network.
Atwood started his career at the University of Georgia in the fall of 2024 semester before coming to Bloomington. He also has a UTR rating of 12.2.
Landau returns to Bloomington after competing for Indiana from 2022-24. He spent the 2024-25 season at Duke where he went 4-3 in singles and 8-2 in doubles. He had a 1-1 mark in dual matches. He has a UTR rating of 13 and was ranked as high as No. 37 in the ITA's singles rankings.
While at Indiana, Landau earned All-Big Ten First Team honors in 2024 and qualified for the main draw at the 2023 ITA All-American Championships. He was also an Academic All-Big Ten honoree and an ITA Scholar All-American. He earned the Big Ten's Sportsmanship Award in 2023, as well.
