
Dabagia Medals, Indiana Claims Runner-Up Honors at Boilermaker Classic

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Indiana Hoosiers women's golf team finished second at the Boilermaker Classic played at the Kampen-Cosler Golf Course over Labor Day Weekend with a 54-hole score of 863 (290-290-283; -1). The team score is the seventh-lowest tournament tally in program history.
Senior Madison Dabagia shot a 209 (70-72-67; -7) to win the event by three strokes. She is the first Hoosier to win an event since Caroline Craig sat atop the standings at the 2024 Big Ten Championships.
The runner-up result is the best finish by the Hoosiers in a season-opening tournament since earning silver at the IU Fall Kickoff to begin the 2013-14 season.

• Senior Madison Dabagia shot a 209 (70-72-67; -7) to earn individual medalist honors for the first time in her career. She cleared the field by three strokes. The three-round score marked the fourth-lowest mark in Indiana women's golf history and tied her collegiate career low. The finish was her fourth top 10 since joining the Hoosiers ahead of the 2024-25 season.
• Dabagia completed 14 birdie tries, including a team-best eight in the final round. She converted five birdie tries over her final seven holes of the tournament.
• Redshirt senior Maddie May closed with five birdies in her final six holes to post of score of 216 (77-70-69; E). May converted 12 total birdies for the tournament, including seven over the final 18 holes.
• Junior Katie Poots played a 216 (72-70-74; E) in her debut with the Hoosiers. The UCF transfer finished the week with 10 birdies.
• Redshirt junior Sheridan Clancy fired a 225 (74-78-73; +9) with nine birdies.
• Freshman Saia Rampersaud debuted with a 237 (74-82-81; +21) and eight birdie conversions.
