
No. 7 Indiana Welcomes Another Top-15 Opponent

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — No. 7-ranked Indiana men's soccer (2-0-1) will host a top-15 matchup for the second time in four matches Sunday (Aug. 30) when the No. 14 Oregon State Beavers (2-1-0) come to town.
Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium. Tickets are on sale here, and IU faculty/staff and students with a valid Crimson Card get in free. Fans unable to attend can stream the match via the B1G+ digital platform.
The first 500 fans in attendance Sunday night will receive a "Hoosier Army" t-shirt. Additionally, fans that show their ticket from Saturday's (Aug. 30) Indiana football game will receive a $5 ticket to Sunday's match.
Hoosier the Bison will make his Armstrong Stadium debut on Sunday.
KICKING OFF
• Sunday's match is the fourth of a five-game homestand. Indiana is unbeaten in its last 10 home matches, boasting an 8-0-2 record in that stretch.
• The Hoosiers have overcome deficits in each of their first three matches yet remain unbeaten at 2-0-1.
• Head coach Todd Yeagley owns a 58-37-20 record against ranked opponents.
• Junior midfielder Jacopo Fedrizzi, the reigning Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, has totaled four G/A in three matches.
ABOUT THE BEAVERS
• Oregon State has become an annual NCAA Tournament team, reaching the 48-team field each of the last five seasons. The program made its first NCAA College Cup appearance in 2023.
• Head coach Jarred Brookins leads OSU, his first season in Corvallis.
• The Beavers defeated UC Santa Barbara, 3-0, and Washington, 2-1, to open the season, before falling to Notre Dame, 1-0, on Thursday.
• Five different Beavers have scored in three matches this season. Redshirt sophomore defender Iker Carbonell Garcia leads the team with four assists.
SERIES HISTORY
• Indiana is unbeaten in the series that began in 2004, winning two of the three matches. The programs last met in 2012 – an IU title year – at the Mike Berticelli Memorial Tournament, hosted by Notre Dame.
